Aberdeen has promoted Simon Moscow to head of UK asset management within its property division as Giles Easter departs the group.
Easter, who has been at Aberdeen since 2001, is to “pursue interests elsewhere in the industry”, the asset manager said. The departure has prompted Aberdeen to promote both Moscow and Stephen Walker, who becomes deputy head of asset management for the UK. Moscow will now oversee asset allocations for the fund house’s £10.5bn UK property business, with Walker providing support and continuing in his current role as Edinburgh team head.
