Alliance Trust has promised to announce "changes" to business in the autumn, as it reported deteriorating performance for the first half of 2015.
In the trust's interim results for the six months ending 30 June, chair Karin Forseke said the board intends to respond to concerns raised by its shareholders over the past few months by making changes later in the year. "In the run up to our AGM a significant proportion of our shareholder base indicated that they sought change. The board has listened to these concerns and is actively engaged in addressing them," she said. "The board anticipates announcing, in the autumn, the changes that it intends to make."
