Mirabaud to launch European fund for former SLI manager Nicholson

Co-manager to join from Credit Suisse

Mirabaud Asset Management has recruited former Standard Life Investments' (SLI) manager Ken Nicholson to launch a European small- and mid-cap strategy.

The manager will run two funds for the group, one newly-launched and one existing product, after he arrives on 21 September. Nicholson (pictured) left his post as manager of the SLI European Smaller Companies SICAV in July last year, after a 15-year stint working in the team alongside head of UK smaller companies Harry Nimmo.
