Dimensional makes changes to four funds in asset allocation move

Group amends names and clarifies objectives

Dimensional Fund Advisors is changing the name of three funds and amending the investment policy of a fourth as it seeks to clarify the allocation limits of the products.

The changes will see the Multi-Factor Conservative fund renamed World Allocation 40/60 to reflect its target allocation of around 60% to fixed income and 40% to equities. Similarly, the Multi-Factor Balanced fund will be renamed the World Allocation 60/40 fund, to reflect a target allocation of 60% to equities and 40% to fixed income. Meanwhile, the Multi-Factor Equity Fund will be rebranded World Equity. A description of the funds' asset allocation targets will be added to their investment policies to clarify their objectives.
