Architas to run AXA's new €30bn MM 'hub'

Move ends bid speculation

AXA Wealth has been named as the European multi-manager centre for the global AXA Group, ending speculation this arm of the business is up for sale.

The move will bring together AXA Wealth's multi-manager investment business Architas (including the AXA Investment Managers Multi-Manager business acquired by Architas in July), as well as the group's private management businesses in France and Belgium. They will now come under one wider 'hub', which will be managed by Architas and encompass €30bn in assets under management. It will include 150 staff across London, Paris and Brussels, headed up by Hans Georgeson (Architas CEO) as chief executive.
