EdenTree Investment Management has hired Philip Harris as a UK equity fund manager following the departure of Andrew Jackson in July.
Harris joins from RWC, where he was part of the RWC Focus fund range management team, and will now manage the £196m UK Equity Growth fund. Specialising in small and mid-cap companies, he previously worked at Hermes and Credit Suisse Asset Management. This fund was previously run by Jackson who managed the vehicle since 2003 . Over five years to 21 August, the fund returned 120% versus an IA UK All Companies sector average of 68%, according to Morningstar.
