JPM adds UK Equity Plus fund to active extensions range

Pan-European fund remains soft-closed

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has added a UK equity fund to its active extension range, the JPM UK Equity Plus fund, as the pan-European version of the fund remains soft-closed.

The UK fund, launched today, is run by two of the three managers who run the European Equity Plus fund - Nicholas Horne and Callum Abbot - alongside James Illsley, who also manages the group's UK Managed Equity fund and UK Active Index Plus fund. European Equity Plus was soft-closed in October 2014 following a surge in flows - it stands at €5.8bn today - as investors piled into European equities. JPMAM's Europe Equity Absolute Alpha SICAV fund, co-managed by Horne, David Allen and Michael Barakos was also soft-closed in February this year. The newly-launched JPM UK Equity Plus fund in...
