Nikko AM launches Asia ex-Japan fund

Group plans further UCITS funds

Nikko Asset Management has launched an Asia ex-Japan Equity UCITS funds for head of Asian equities Peter Sartori and Eng Teck Tan.

The new fund is domiciled in Luxembourg and will be run by the Asia ex-Japan equities team, which has managed the active Asia ex-Japan equity strategy since 2006. It aims to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in an actively-managed portfolio of 40-60 mid- to large-cap stocks issued by companies in the Asia ex-Japan region.
