Kames Capital's Phil Milburn is taking time out from fund management due to ill health until early next year and will be handing his funds to existing co-managers.
Milburn (pictured) runs four fixed income funds at the firm, which will be temporarily taken over by his co-managers during his absence. The manager is recovering from post viral fatigue syndrome, which follows a bout of glandular fever ten years ago, and will be off until early 2016. Claire McGuckin will continue as co-manager on both the £1.6bn High Yield Bond and £315m High Yield Global Bond funds, with Stephen Baines appointed as support manager on both products.
