Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has hired former Allianz Global Investors sales director Daniel Lee to drive its move into the UK market.
Lee (pictured) will begin his new role as head of UK wholesale from 1 October, after spending nearly two years at Allianz. He will focus on adapting the company's range of products to UK investors as the firm plans to expand beyond its primary investment hubs in France and Switzerland. Prior to Allianz, Lee was head of UK discretionary sales at Cazenove Capital, which was acquired by Schroders in July 2013.
