JPMAM hires former R&M global equity head Stanic

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has appointed former River & Mercantile head of global equities Alex Stanic as a portfolio manager.

Stanic is based in London and joins the global equities team led by Howard Williams where he will work alongside JPMAM's range of growth equity strategies. He has 20 years' experience in the asset management industry and spent over a decade at Newton, where he led the global team including the Global Opportunities fund, following a stint at Cazenove. Most recently, he left River & Mercantile in January after six years following outflows from the three funds he was responsible for in the preceding months.
