FCA exits and entrances: Nick Poyntz-Wright out in reshuffle

Industry stalwart Nick Poyntz-Wright has left his role as director of life insurance and financial advice at the regulator, following a high-level reshuffle of the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) top positions.

Formerly chief executive of Skandia UK, Poyntz-Wright (pictured) has been at the regulator since 2011. He is replaced by Linda Woodall. His departure comes as part of a series of high-level moves at the regulator, including former director of enforcement Georgina Philippou being appointed its new chief operating officer. Her appointment finalises the FCA's reshuffle of its executive team, with acting chief executive Tracey McDermott temporarily at the helm while a successor for former CEO Martin Wheatley is being sought.
