Threadneedle hands pan-European fund to ex-F&C manager

Dan Ison to remain as deputy

Former F&C manager Mark Nichols is to take over the lead role on the £62.3m Threadneedle Pan European Equity Dividend fund from Dan Ison.

Nichols (pictured) joined Columbia Threadneedle in August 2015 from F&C Asset Management, where he managed the £253m F&C European Growth and Income Fund. He will assume his new role from 1 October, with Ison staying on as deputy manager, after leading the fund since June 2014 following the departure of previous manager Nick Davis. In addition to his fund management responsibility, Nichols has sector responsibilities for chemicals and media stocks within the Columbia Threadneedle European equities team.
