Arlene Cairns joins group

Alliance Trust Savings has appointed Arlene Cairns as finance director, following key changes to the management of the trust announced last week.

The announcement follows news of a major overhaul at Alliance Trust last week, which will see the trust's board become fully independent, among a raft of other changes.
