Neuberger Berman has boosted its emerging markets debt (EMD) offering with the launch of an Asian-focused fixed income UCITS fund.
The Asian Debt Hard Currency fund will invest in government and related debt, corporate debt, and the investment grade and high yield spectrum. The fund's will be led by Prashant Singh (pictured), who joined from ING Investment Management in 2013. He will be supported by Nish Popat, Jennifer Gorgol and Neuberger Berman's EMD team. The new product will be followed by the launch of a China bond fund and an Asian debt local currency fund at an yet-unconfirmed point.
