Philip Rodrigs' River & Mercantile UK Micro Cap trust is to issue additional equity in order to take advantage of an increasing number of opportunities within the micro-cap sector.

The trust was launched in November 2015 and achieved full investment within six months of its IPO. However, Rodrigs (pictured) continues to see a number of attractive opportunities in the micro-cap sector and recently told Investment Week: "When we listed last December we felt there was a window of opportunity in micro-caps and I am very surprised that that is still there. "We are very enthusiastic about the opportunity set in the micro-cap space, there are some fantastically-valued stocks."
