A recent report from brokerage firm Stifel has revealed the 18 equity investment trusts listed in the UK market that are producing a dividend yield higher than 4%.
The list of the highest-yielding trusts (see below) continues to include a number of those investing in UK equities, such as the City of London Trust, managed by Job Curtis, with a yield of 4%, and Merchants, yielding 5.5%. Schroder Income Growth, run by Sue Noffke, is also paying a 4% fully covered dividend, and trading on a 3% discount to NAV, with strong performance.
