Aberdeen Asset Management's global head of distribution John Brett has stepped down from his role after four years.
Brett (pictured) was appointed to the senior role in November 2011, having previously worked at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP), which was subsequently taken over by Aberdeen. He was instrumental in the intergration process of his former employer into its new home within Aberdeen Asset Management. At SWIP he was a sales and marketing director from 2010, and before that worked as legal, risk and compliance director at the firm.
