Chief executive and co-head of Allianz Global Investors Elizabeth Corley is to step down from the role from 1 March, succeeded by Andreas Utermann.
Corley (pictured) will take on a non-executive role of vice-chair for the firm where she will represent the firm externally on industry, policy and regulatory matters. She became chief executive of Allianz GI in 2005 and was promoted to co-head of the firm in 2011. Utermann will take on the chief executive role and work as co-head of Allianz GI with George McKay, who is currently global chief investment officer.
