Rothschild to bring European flagship funds to UK and develop alternative UCITS range

Rothschild Group is to bring two flagship European funds to the UK retail market for the first time and partner with groups in the alternatives space for further product launches.

Following the hire of Andrew Blair (pictured) as head of UK sales in August, the group announced it would assess its strategies run out of Paris and New York to decide which funds would be most appropriate for UK wealth managers. After market testing, the group is looking to launch sterling share classes for its Luxembourg-domiciled R Conviction Euro and R Euro Credit funds in Q1 next year and promote the vehicles in the UK, subject to regulatory approval.   "These funds have been hugely successful in raising assets in Paris and we are looking to build on that in the UK," Blair said. ...
