Columbia Threadneedle has expanded its sustainable investment fund range with the launch of the Threadneedle Ethical UK Equity fund.
The fund will be managed by Matt Evans (pictured), who also co-manages the company's £166m UK Smaller Companies and £117m UK Mid 250 funds with James Thorne. The latest new product follows the launch of the Threadneedle UK Social Bond fund in January last year, managed by Simon Bond. The new fund will avoid companies in the alcohol, tobacco, and weapons industries, and will target stocks with environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) factors.
