Aviva Investors hires ex-BoE man as senior economist

To focus on strategy for AIMS team

Aviva Investors has appointed Michael Grady, formerly at the Bank of England, as senior economist and strategist, to focus on the group's AIMS fund range.

Grady moves to Aviva Investors from global macro hedge fund COMAC Capital, where he was where he was responsible for the fundamental analysis used to inform the investment process. In his new role, Grady will be responsible for monitoring and analysing macroeconomics, market and policy developments across a range of countries. He will report to head of strategy Ian Pizer, and will also take a leading role in determining investment strategy for the Aviva Investors Multi-Strategy (AIMS) fund range.
