Ashburton expands fixed income business with Cape Town acquisition

Ashburton Investments has expanded its fixed income proposition with the acquisition of Cape Town-based bond boutique Atlantic Asset Management.

Effective from 1 January, the acquisition of the social impact focused investment house adds to Ashburton's existing range of traditional fixed income funds. Atlantic's funds will be incorporated into the Ashburton Investments product range, but the mandates and teams will not change. However, the Atlantic funds will eventually be rebranded under the Ashburton Investments name, subject to regulatory approval.
