Alliance Trust Investments' fixed income head Davidson to depart

Group to close Dynamic Bond fund

Alliance Trust Investments' head of fixed income Rod Davidson is to leave the firm at the end of the year as the group scales down its fixed income assets, Investment Week can reveal.

Davidson (pictured) has headed up the fixed income team at ATI since 2010 and is manager of the £349m Alliance Trust Sustainable Future Corporate Bond fund. His role will be taken over by investment manager Stuart Steven, who has worked at ATI since 2009 and is currently co-manager on the Alliance Trust Monthly Income Bond and Alliance Trust Dynamic Bond funds. He previously worked at L&G and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.
