TwentyFour expands mortgages team with RBS hire

Firm now has 13 portfolio managers

TwentyFour Asset Management has hired Silvia Piva from Royal Bank of Scotland for its UK Mortgages investment trust.

Piva joins from RBS where she spent nine years, most recently working as a director on the UK and Ireland asset backed finance team.  Prior to RBS, Piva worked in corporate finance at Garnell Advisory in Milan. At TwentyFour, she will work as a portfolio manager on the asset backed securities team. Her work will be primarily focused on the firm's UK Mortgages product which was launched in July 2015 and is managed by partner Ben Hayward (pictured) and portfolio manager Douglas Charleston.
