Woodford Patient Capital is considering raising additional funds for the popular trust, after hiking the initial fundraising limit to £800m last year to meet investor demand.
In the latest update for Woodford's (pictured) £801m trust, the company said it is considering further fundraising after investing all the proceeds from its initial public offering. The statement said: ""Woodford Patient Capital trust has successfully deployed the proceeds of its initial public offering and has a substantial ongoing pipeline of investment opportunities. "With the current market conditions in mind, the board of the company is currently looking at ways it can raise additional capital in the year ahead and will consult with, and gauge interest from, investors."
