Becomes adviser to Moneybox

Daniel Godfrey, former chief executive of the Investment Association, has joined the board of financial technology specialist Moneybox as an adviser.

In this role, Godfrey (pictured) will be advising the company on its regulatory authorisation process and product design. He will also assist with the expansion of its core team and development of the Moneybox app, ahead of its launch early this year, for which the firm has already raised £2m. The app will enable users to round-up their digital ‘spare change' from everyday card transactions into a Stocks and Shares ISA, which can be set up in minutes on their mobile phones.
