Aviva Investors promotes Connolly as CIO Lis retires

Lis planning to retire from full-time role in March

Aviva Investors has reshuffled the leadership of its investment teams as David Lis, CIO of multi-asset and equities, plans his retirement for March this year.

Current CIO of fixed income Mark Connolly (pictured) has taken over Lis' role as CIO for liquid markets, encompassing multi-asset, fixed income and equities. Connolly, who joined Aviva in January last year from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, will also help Aviva adapt to the evolving regulatory environment. Reporting to Connolly, Dan James and Chris Murphy have been promoted to global head of fixed income and global head of equities respectively.
