Polin hires former Ashcourt Rowan colleagues for Sanlam UK roles

Sanlam UK's group chief executive Jonathan Polin has hired a pair of his former Ashcourt Rowan colleagues to the board as the firm continues its restructuring programme.

Steven Haines and Alfio Tagliabue have been hired as Sanlam UK's group chief operating officer and group chief financial officer respectively, while also becoming members of the board. In addition, Jeremy Gibson, the chief financial officer at Sanlam UK since 2012, has taken on the role of chief executive officer of Sanlam Investments and Pensions. The appointments are part of an ongoing restructure to create one overarching Sanlam UK business, headed up by Polin.
