Woodford to manage new UK equity fund for Openwork

Financial services partnership Openwork is launching a UK equity fund next month, to be managed by Neil Woodford.

The fund will take positions in both listed and unquoted companies across the UK and will form part of Openwork's investment proposition Omnis, which offers multi-asset model portfolios built using funds managed by groups including Schroders, Jupiter and Threadneedle. The new fund will be managed by Neil Woodford (pictured), who set up his firm Woodford Investment Management in 2014, and has gathered nearly £8bn in his flagship CF Woodford Equity Income fund since then.  The Omnis UK Income & Growth fund will only be available to Openwork's 3,000 advisers through their platform relati...
