AXA IM expands European equities team with new hire

To focus on flexible equities strategies

AXA Investment Managers has appointed former AllianceBernstein fund manager Michele Patri as senior portfolio manager on the Framlington European equities team.

Patri (pictured) joined AXA IM in January 2016 and will report to Giles Guibout, head of European strategies on the Framlington Equities team. In his new role, Patri will focus on flexible equities strategies with a total return approach. He previously spent 14 years at AllianceBernstein managing global long-only equity funds as well as running the European Flexible Equity fund.
