Jupiter's Jason Pidcock, manager of the Asian Income fund the group is launching next week, has made a case for why Australia is one of the most overlooked investment opportunities globally.
Speaking ahead of the launch of his fund on 2 March, the manager (pictured) said investors are underestimating the return potential from Australian equities as they consider the market to be primarily dominated by miners. However, he is finding ample investment opportunities in other parts of the market and is set for a significant overweight in Australia in the fund at launch.
