Schroders CEO to step down but remain at firm as chairman amid board reshuffle

Profits grow despite drop in inflows in 2015

In its latest set of results, Schroders has announced a number of senior changes to its board, including CEO Michael Dobson stepping down from his role, as well as global head of distribution and executive vice chairman Massimo Tosato retiring from the board.

In a widely expected move and as reported by Investment Week last month, chief executive Dobson will step down from his role after nearly 15 years, to be replaced by Peter Harrison with effect from 4 April. Dobson has been CEO at Schroders since 2001, while Harrison re-joined Schroders in 2013, having worked there previously as a graduate and most recently worked as chief executive of RWC Partners. Dobson will remain at the firm as non-executive chairman, taking over from Andrew Beeson, who has been chairman for the last four years and a member of the board since 2004; he will retire ...
