Amundi Asset Management has been chosen by auto-enrolment provider NEST to run its emerging market bond mandate.
The fund mandate will be actively managed and blend bonds in both local and hard currencies. NEST said the attraction of emerging market bonds was the diversification benefits they will bring to portfolios and opportunities for investment growth. A variety of firms were considered for the mandate before the organisation decided on Amundi, which has €985bn in assets under management. Amundi will join providers running 13 other existing fund mandates which make up the scheme's NEST Retirement Date funds and some of its alternative choices.
