John Betteridge, who joined Rowan Dartington in September 2014 as non-executive director and chairman of the asset allocation committee, has been given the position of chief investment officer at the group.
In the newly-created role, Betteridge (pictured) will be overseeing the discretionary wealth manager's asset allocation strategy for private clients and financial advisers across the business. He will also be heading up the investment team, communicating investment guidelines and providing support to portfolio managers, investment executives and research analysts.
