Aberdeen Asset Management has halved the management fees on three of its quant strategies.
According to the Daily Mail, fees were cut on the Foundation Growth tracker fund, the Aberdeen World Emerging Markets Equity fund and the Aberdeen UK Enhanced Equity fund. Foundation Growth has dropped from 1% to 0.15%, World Emerging Markets Equity has dropped from 1% to 0.4% and Enhanced Equity has fallen from 1% to 0.2%. A spokesperson for Aberdeen said: "Aberdeen is known primarily as an active fund manager and we have long had a reputation of taking positions that are widely divergent to the index.
