Hargreaves Lansdown co-founder Peter Hargreaves has said the "unknown" of Britain leaving the European Union could provide a fresh start which could help spur innovation.
He also told the BBC concerns about the impact a Brexit would have on UK financial services were overblown, and bankers would not want to move to Paris or Frankfurt. Hargreaves (pictured) said demand for goods in and out of the UK would spur quick and favourable trade deals, and the popularity of British brands would aid businesses after a potential exit. "They have got to use London. London can raise billions on a few phone calls," he told the Today programme.
