Just Retirement Limited has appointed Nick Poyntz-Wright, formerly an FCA director and CEO of Skandia UK, as a non-executive director.
Poyntz-Wright (pictured) was previously long-term savings and pensions director at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), where he had worked since 2011 (appointed when the regulator was the Financial Services Authority). He left the regulator last September as part of a reshuffle at the top of the organisation. In that role, he was responsible for the supervision of life insurance and pension providers, financial advisers, wealth managers and private banks.
