Janus Capital cuts fees on three funds; promotes head of investments

Janus Capital has reduced fees across three of its US funds and promoted Enrique Chang to president, head of investments.

The company has reduced the maximum investment management fee on the $442m Janus US Short-Term Bond fund from 0.65% to 0.5%, and cut its ongoing shareholder servicing fee from 0.5% to 0.2%. Meanwhile, the $191.2m Janus Perkins US Strategic Value fund has seen its maximum investment management fee reduced from 1.5% to 1%, and the maximum fee on the $185m Janus US Research fund has been cut from 1.5% to 1%.
