Winterflood Securities founder Brian Winterflood is to retire at the start of next year, after six decades of working in the financial services industry.
Winterflood (pictured), who set up the brokerage business back in 1988, wil retire from his position as honorary life president in January at the age of 80. He stepped down from his role as non-executive director of the firm at the start of 2016. Winterflood Securities was set up in 1988, and was taken over by Close Brothers in 1993. Winterflood joined the board of Close Brothers in 1995 and served as an executive director until 2002.
