Newton Investment Management has promoted Julian Lyne to the role of global head of distribution.
Formerly head of business development and global consultant relationships at the firm, Lyne (pictured) will continue to report to commercial director Colin Cowie. In his new role, Lyne will provide leadership for both Newton's global marketing and institutional sales. He joined the fund group, part of BNY Mellon, in June 2014 to oversee its global consultant relations and UK institutional and charity business development, and he retains responsibility for these areas.
