Henderson's multi-asset head McQuaker exits for Fidelity

Will become portfolio manager at Fidelity Solutions

Fidelity International has hired Henderson Global Investors' Bill McQuaker for its multi-asset Fidelity Solutions team.

At Henderson, McQuaker (pictured) worked as co-head of multi-asset where he managed the firm's flagship strategies. He has worked at Henderson since 2005 when he joined the firm as head of the multi-manager team, following its acquisition of Gartmore. Due to start at Fidelity later this year as a portfolio manager, he will join a 26-strong multi-asset team, which manages nearly £30bn in assets under management.
