Janus launches Absolute Return Income fund

Complementary to Gross' Global Unconstrained Bond fund

Janus Capital International has added an Absolute Return Income fund to its fixed income suite,to be managed by Kumar Palghat.

The fund will be available to UK investors via the Janus Capital Funds range and aims to generate positive absolute returns over a full market cycle by focusing on a combination of capital preservation and income generation, while also placing emphasis on risk management and low volatility. In particular, the fund will also look to mitigate interest rate risk, and will have a low correlation with equity and conventional core strategies.
