Invesco Perpetual has hired Sebastian Mackay from Standard Life Investments (SLI) as a fund manager for its multi-asset team to help develop an income product for the range.
Mackay, who will move to the group in September 2016, will join the ten-strong multi-asset team led by David Millar (pictured). He joins from SLI, where he was an investment director and portfolio manager on its absolute return global bond strategy, as well as a member of the global absolute return strategy (GARS) portfolio construction team. He started his career in 2000 at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP), where he worked together with Millar in a number of roles before joining SLI in 2011.
