Investec AM launches onshore version of Global Quality Equity Income fund

Investec Asset Management has unveiled an onshore version of its Global Quality Equity Income SICAV in a bid to increase accessibility for UK investors, and following the addition of Blake Hutchins to the management team.

The OEIC, launched on 31 May, is a mirror version of the SICAV, which has a nine-year track record under Clyde Rossouw, co-head of Investec's quality investment team alongside Simon Brazier. Hutchins (pictured), who joined the group from Columbia Threadneedle with Brazier in late 2014 and also runs the £16m UK Equity Income fund, was made co-manager on the $200m Global Quality Equity Income SICAV in July last year, alongside Rossouw and Abrie Pretorius.
