Manulife hires ex-Ignis CIO Fellingham as alternatives head

Manulife Asset Management has appointed former Ignis Asset Management chief investment officer Chris Fellingham to the newly created role of head of liquid alternative strategies.

Effective from 13 June, Fellingham (pictured) will be based in London and report to Chris Conkey, executive vice president and global CIO at the firm. He will be in charge of driving the expansion of the firm's range of absolute return and outcome oriented products, including stand-alone and multi-asset strategy solutions. He joins his former Ignis colleague Claude Chene who is global head of distribution at the firm.
