Downing has appointed former Hargreaves Lansdown investment manager Ben Yearsley and co-founder of SVM Asset Management Donald Robertson to its board as non-executive directors.
The pair will sit on the public equity investment committee as well as the board of the Downing Diversified Global Managers fund, while Robertson will also act as a board member on the Downing UK Micro Cap Growth fund. Yearsley (pictured), who was also previously head of research at Charles Stanley Direct, already has connections with Downing with his current firm Wealth Club offering the group's tax efficient vehicles within its suite of products.
