One of Asia's largest asset managers has partnered with Harrington Cooper to launch a replica of its $3.5bn equity income fund to the UK market.
The Value Partners Asia Dividend Stocks fund is Dublin-domiciled, UCITS-compliant and will be distributed in the UK by fund distributor Harrington Cooper. It will be managed by the same team as the existing Asian Dividend Stocks fund, headed by Value Partners co-founder Cheah Cheng Hye. The team takes a bottom-up approach and targets value stocks that pay a high dividend, aiming to achieve a dividend payout of around 5% per annum with a monthly distribution.
