Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) has hired former Invesco Asset Management bond duo Mark Nash and Nick Wall to work with Christine Johnson, head of fixed income, with plans for Nash to take over the group's Global Strategic Bond fund in August.
Nash joined OMGI, part of Old Mutual Wealth, on 27 June as head of global bonds and will report directly to Johnson, while Wall will join on 4 July as portfolio manager. Subject to regulatory approval, Nash will also become the lead manager of the £241m Old Mutual Global Strategic Bond fund on 1 August, taking over from Johnson (pictured) and John Peta, who is also head of emerging market debt.
