AXA IM launches Short Duration Inflation fund

Aims to mitigate inflation and interest rate risk

AXA Investment Managers has launched the World Funds Global Inflation Short Duration Bonds fund for Jonathan Baltora.

This fund is run with a similar approach to the flagship SCS WF Global Inflation Bonds fund but with a short duration focus of between zero and five years. The Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV will be managed by Baltora (pictured) alongside Marion Le Mordhedec, manager of the AXA WF Universal Inflation Bonds fund. It aims to mitigate the impact of inflation and interest rate risk by maintaining a high correlation of total return to realised inflation in a low rates environment.
